ROUTES media: Living on the road, and in pursuit of raw rugged adventure, the ROUTES media team have traversed the country relentlessly, like cowboys trying to find their boots. Although this peculiar trio have neither confirmed nor denied ever having to live off road kill, one thing is for sure, they have captured vast landscapes and spectacular scenes in still shoots and impressive video. ROUTES media team are all about film and adventure– and the combination of these speaks for itself. Their reel captures the arid landscapes far North, from the wildlife in Borana Conservancy, the action packed shots of the 10to4 bike marathon, to the majestic Ololokwe buttress backdrop, and more. Further south you will find their compositions of Lamu and the vivid southern coast filled with bursts of adventure at every turn.
Not long ago, their road led to Rift Valley Adventures Forest Camp were they embarked on a different altogether new kinds of adventure: a canyon journey through the secret retreats of Ngare Ndare Conservancy – from guided abseils, zip lines and 25ft cliff jumps, there was nothing holding back the excitement of journeying through the clear blue spring pools north of Mt. Kenya. The day was packed full of adventure as one thing led to the other. From filming climbing at massive granite crags to trailing footage on the in-camp mountain bike obstacle course; the trio went from shooting cameras and video to shooting bows and arrows on the RVA archery range, all in a day!
